WHO HAS PLAYED FOR TERRA FC

About Us

Terra FC was born from a simple idea: to use soccer, the nation’s great passion, to talk about climate change with people who don’t usually engage in that conversation. Not as a distant warning, but as something that is already impacting our daily lives and the game itself.

Increasingly intense heat, floods that engulf entire cities, stadiums affected, schedules disrupted. Soccer is already feeling the effects of the climate crisis, yet we still talk very little about it.

We are a campaign that turns sports into a bridge. We use soccer’s cultural power—its language, its passion, its ability to mobilize—to broaden the conversation and invite fans, athletes, clubs, federations, and brands to be part of the solution.

Protecting the game we love means ensuring it continues to exist in the stands, on the fields, and for future generations.

PLAY WITH TERRA FC

Soccer is bigger than any rivalry. From the local field to the big stadiums, protecting the game starts with taking care of the places where it’s played. Because, at the end of the day, no planet, no soccer.

What about you? Do you want to play for the future of soccer? Take the field with us!

Climate Break

The Climate Break is a first-of-its-kind initiative in Brazilian soccer, created by Terra FC in partnership with the Pará Soccer Federation and implemented during the 2026 Parazão tournament. The initiative transforms the traditional water break for athletes into a moment to raise awareness about the impacts of climate change on the game itself.

Extreme heat, heavy rains, and increasingly frequent weather events are already part of soccer’s routine. They affect athletes’ performance, match logistics, stadium infrastructure, and also the fan experience, both inside and outside the stands.

By taking to the field with videos, banners, and activities about climate change and what we can do, the Climate Parade brings the debate onto and off the field as well, with radio and TV broadcasts sharing and explaining the initiative.

Manifest

We are united by a common goal: to protect the game we love.

Our fields are increasingly vulnerable to flooding. Athletes are already facing extreme heat. The future of soccer is at risk.

That is why, at COP30 in Belém, we are calling on leaders from around the world to take the field for the planet. This is the most decisive match of our generation: if we win, the game goes on.
